design and colour

I drew a few different settings before incorporating the whole image into one inwhich the composition was correct, I wanted to try a limited colour pallet with this particular piece.

I found that the limit in colours didn't give the image the quality it deserved. so I thought I would try a full colour image to see how it turned out.

With only touching this briefly (3hours) I got the skin to a stage in bold colour I found interesting and detailed enough to make the image really shine, at the moment I have used green, red and black, I am going to try and keep it to this colour scheme if possible with different tones.
