In experimenting with the type I thought about different effects that I cold try out. Such as scratch and distort marks.

I chose to ignore the effects until I found a type I liked, I used the vans typeface as a skeleton to work around in order to incorporate my type with the logo.

I found that once completed the type looked lost, so I tried different combinations, although I still feel a lot of work needs to go into the logo in order for it to look right. I feel that I may even try a new logo for this.
